Hi and welcome to the Masters of Puppets FAQs page. Here is where we answer the questions we get asked most. For information regarding specific areas of the event, please visit the correlating pages via the info section on our website.
The 7th edition of Masters of Puppets will be at the same amazing location as the previous festival ” Autocamp Na Kopci, 515 Dvořiště, 539 01 Bystřice nad Pernštejnem,”, Brno, Czech Republic
The closest airports are Prague and Brno. You can get a taxi from Brno for roughly 60euros between 4 people. It takes approximately 1 hour. From Prague is easy to hire a car and drive to the festival site (2.5hrs) Otherwise you can get a train from Prague to Bystrice For more information, please visit our ‘travel and location’ page.
The festival camping opens from 29th June at 10am. Music does not start until 1st July at 16:30pm with our opening ceremony. There is a pre-party with music in the night on 30th June usually from 10pm – 4am. Music officially finishes Monday morning at 7am on the Rage Stage. Campsites need to be empty by Tuesday morning.

We are an electronic music festival and cover the alternative, faster, experimental psychedelic music genres: Hi-tech, Psycore, Experimental, Dark, Forest, Dark Prog and Techno. There is also a chill out stage which covers Glitch Hop, Psychedelic Dub and Ambient music.
CAMPING & FESTIVAL
The Camping gates open 01-08-2019 at 12:00 PM and close 09-08-2019 at 12:00 PM.
Due to health & safety regulations, you can’t make fires on the campsite, fires can burn underground here for days. There are fires in the main festival arena, these areas are great to keep warm at night and for socialising. You can use gas stoves and BBQ’s if you like.
There are no day tickets for sale for the 2020 edition. However, there might be limited tickets on the gate. We get this question a lot, however we only provide tickets for the entire week. If you plan to only come for the weekend, it might be wise to try and purchase a tier 1 early bird ticket so that you can get the best value for your money. The presale goes from tiers 1 – 5. The past three editions have sold out fully so it is wise to try and purchase your ticket as soon as you can afford it.
Yes there is! Our stages run 24-hours per day. There is one break on Friday morning for 6 hours.
If all night partying isn’t for you, then you can always take a break, wonder around the beautiful site, meet people, sit by a fire, explore the shops or take your time to really look at the art in the art space, or have a good rest and prepare yourself for the next long day that lays ahead of you.

We are a very big group of party people and we do leave a lot of rubbish behind. We need your involvement as a visitor, please pick up your own rubbish, use the bins provided and leave no trace. We want to ensure that the magical surroundings of a festival always stays that way and everybody can enjoy their experience to the fullest.
At the entrance you will receive bin bags for free. At the end of the festival we ask you to put as much rubbish as you can find into the bag and deposit it at one of our rubbish collection points. This way you can help us and the team at Psyclean to keep the nature around us nice and clean.

If you have found an item at the festival then you can bring it to the cashless top up point. One of the booths is for lost and found items. Thank you for your honesty and taking care of each other’s belongings. If there are any items leftover after the festival, we will take photos ourselves and post them on social media once the site has been packed down.
You can park your cars or vans in our campsites. Many people choose to drive to the festival and take part in lift sharing services (you can often find people offering rides on our Facebook event page:https://www.facebook.com/events/2420362121574955/
Yes they are 🙂 but there are limited spaces available on the campsite.
Our parking and city shuttles drive 24/7 -Shuttles will stop on the north and south entrance of the festival (near the tickets and far campsites).
You have to purchase a shower token from the restaurant that costs 1 euro each or the equivalent in Czech Koruna.
Unfortunately not, but he/she can camp with you on the visitor’s campsite. We have separate tent spaces for the artists if they have arranged this in advance. Some of the artists organise hotels with us in advance, so it is their choice if they wish to camp with you in the public camping areas.
We feel that a crowded music festival with very loud 24-hour music and lots of noise is not the best place for your pet. Dogs are allowed on site at your own risk. We would prefer them not to be around loud sound systems due to the nature of loud music not being pleasant for their hearing. Please look after your dogs, keep them well fed and hydrated in the heat.
Our first aid team and medics can be found near psycare usually behind the bungalows.
Psycare is located in a pink gazebo close to the chill out/lectures and workshop space.
Yes, all on site water points have tap water that is safe to drink.
Yes but please be careful.
Yes, but keep it down please and respect your neighbours, there is plenty of good music on at the festival.
No, you must stay inside the designated areas marked by red and white tape. This makes it safer because campervans and cars often leave the site for supermarket runs during the festival.
Sorry to hear that. Unfortunately, we can’t give you a new one, you will have to purchase a new one.

Is the festival accessible for all ages? No, persons under 18 are not permitted on the festival grounds. This event is 18+ only.
