2. a certificate showing your first vaccine dose
3. recovery certificate from COVID-19

It took some time to confirm everything and get to the point where government regulations were in our favour, but here we are, super excited to finally announce it. A proper gathering and celebration have been long overdue, and there is more unheard music out there than ever before, one of our core motivations to keep trying and staying ready.

Due to the ongoing pandemic, we are experiencing financial difficulties in maintaining our event organisation, resources, and infrastructure, as well as meeting other obligations, including a portion of the refunds. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused!

“Shorttrips!”, in that sense, is a fundraiser to help get back on top of our obligations, while at the same time and first of all, partying hard.

Please be aware that the full-scale Masters of Puppets Festival 2021 has been POSTPONED to 2022; your 2021 festival tickets will be valid in 2022, but are NOT VALID for “Masters of Puppets pres. Shorttrips!”

Important Travel- And Hygiene-Information

Hey everybody, to answer your questions about travel to Czech Republic and hygiene at the festivel, please read closely and process entirely, if you have questions, get back to us!

The conditions to travel to Czech Republic are published at

but chill- it’s really not as hard as it looks.

-Step 1- what country are you travelling from?

Locate it on the map and locate the colour coded risk category of that country.

Keep an eye on these requirements as we expect them to ease even further.

We discourage you getting creative and trying to travel through other countries because as you can see below it’s really not worth it.

-Step 2- work out what you need to enter, we try to give you some examples:

-AN ORANGE COLOUR only requires you to

a) Fill in a simple online forms

b) Get a test certificate from your country within the time limit before you come (different times apply for antigen and PCR tests)

c) “Wear a mask outside for 14 days” (see our note below on masks).

-A RED COLOUR requires you to:

a) Fill in a simple online form.

b) Get a test certificate from your country within the time limit before you come (different times apply for antigen and PCR tests)

c) Get a test done on arrival and self-isolate until you get the results, that can be in your car or any closed place, that you share with your travel mates only.

Results will be with you within 3 hours, please understand that they will be needed to access the Festival including Camping Area.

d) “Wear a mask outside for 14 days” (see our note below on masks).

There are also exemptions from testing before you come, if you have a vaccination certificate, or a certificate of recovery.

There are hundreds of testing stations everywhere, even in the airport. You can book in advance and get results within 3 hours, allowing you to travel towards the festival.

Google them, find the right price (be careful of tourist traps) and make sure you book, to avoid queues.

While there is, technically, a requirement to wear masks in public, the Police of Czech Republic haven’t been seen enforcing it outdoors.

They announced that they don’t look at it as their job,

but when you are on public transport and in crowded places, it’s the smart choice to put on an FFP2 respirator.

The decision whether to wear a mask on outdoor – areas of the festival site is your own, we will not advise you not to follow the law, but we can tell you that we will be on private property, and the likelihood of the police making any fines is minimal.

Whatsoever, we encourage you to wear masks in closed spaces, such as the sanitary areas, chemical toilets, dressing-cabins of shops, etc.

There is a simple set of rules that many of us are following for years, just to avoid turning sick of some festival or camping epidemic, as they have occurred on many festivals already. the current regulations don’t differ from that so much, so please, just be smart.

here some advises to keep the festival save for everybody:

-use the sanitary infrastructure provided, there is plenty, cleaned regularly

-Keep your hands sanitized, infrastructure for that is provided all over the area

-don’t share drinks or cigarettes

-respect space in queues and on the dancefloor

-If you feel sick, tell someone, we have antigen tests on site for this eventuality.

Please understand that it’s important for us to monitor the situation on site and keep you safe- don’t worry you wont be kicked out on the street or anything, we are family.

With all the above in mind, if you just aren’t getting it:

drop us a note and our advisor will do our best, to help you understand the requirements. This is going to be a great reunion and with your help it will be a safe and easy time for everyone.
